Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC), NATP-2 organized a day long workshop on “Progress Review Workshop for In-Country PhD Scholars” on 24^th October,2019 at the Training Cum Conference Room of BARC, Farmagate, Dhaka. Md. Motiur Rahman, Project Director (Additional Secretary) was present in the inaugural session as Chief Guest and Dr Kabir Ikramul Haque, Executive Chairman, BARC was present as Special Guest. Dr. Mian Sayeed Hassan, Director, PIU-BARC chaired the inaugural session.

Besides the inaugural session, the workshop was divided into two technical sessions. Technical session-1 was chaired by Md. Motiur Rahman, Project Director (Additional Secretary) and Technical session-2 was chaired by Dr Kabir Ikramul Haque, Executive Chairman,BARC. Concerned PhD scholars and respective supervisors were present in the workshop. In First technical session, 14 research works were presented and in second session, 16 research works were presented. The PhD scholars presented their progress on research activities using power point presentations. Both scholars and respective supervisors answered different queries raised in the house.
